Pennsic XXXI

Ragnarok XVII

"The proper function of history, as I conceive it, is to ensure that merits are not passed over, and that base words and deeds will have occasion to fear the judgment of posterity."
-Publius Cornelius Tacitus, Annals, Book III, 65

Usually the Commentaries and Mos Maiorum dedications read, "To the Senate and People of Rome, then and now." I want to extent a heartfelt thanks to all of our friends and families for your unwavering support of Rome. Rome is more than just our hobby, it is our way of life. Your support and understanding help to make Rome possible. Your tolerance and sacrifices help make us great. Historically, Rome's ancient origins and traditions were centered around the family unit. Rome is all about family.  Special thanks to our significant others who refer accurately to Rome as the "other woman" in our lives, but tolerate her anyway.  I want you to know that you're a special part of the Roman family. Please don't ever forget that, and Rome will never forget either. This page is dedicated to you. Thank you for sharing the good times.  Thank you for sticking by us in the bad times. Thank you for being there, everyone. Then and now. Ave Rome!
